Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the financial operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and conducting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping and data entry.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Manage payroll, taxes, and other government filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Liaise with auditors for financial audits.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or Peachtree).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in construction accounting is a plus.
- Strong ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling financial matters.
