Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the financial operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and conducting audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping and data entry.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Manage payroll, taxes, and other government filings.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Liaise with auditors for financial audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or Peachtree).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in construction accounting is a plus.
  • Strong ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling financial matters.
